How long will you stay in the apartment?
The maximum lease for an apartment in Argentina by a foreign visitor is 6 months by law. That is the maximum length a client is be able to sign for at one time, however, for people wanting to stay longer it is possible to renew after six months.
What the rate includes?
Prices seen on my website are final and ussually include utilities (gas, electricity, water, building fees, city taxes, cable TV, local telephone service with a control line, and internet), towels & bedding, and full furnishing, including kitchen equipment for at least four people. If utilities are not included it will be pointed out in the apartment description. Internet and weekly maid service may also be included in the price, but will be specified in the description. Where maid service applies, the time will be worked out with the tenant on move in. Maid Service does not abscond the tenant from leaving the apartment in any condition other than the way it was found upon move in.
How do I book an apartment?
To hold an apartment for rental, a reservation deposit must be put down so the apartment is not shown or let to another party. The reservation fee is usually between U$200 and U$D500, but it can depend on the apartment. The reservation fee can be dropped off at my place of I can go an pick it up from your hotel/ apt if you are in BA, or for guests who have not arrived in Buenos Aires yet, it may be done through Western Union. The reservation fee will be credited toward the deposit on arrival. In the case of a cancellation, the reservation fee is non refundable.
What do I need for the check in?
Upon move in of an apartment the following will be the minimum required:
- First month's rent
- Refundable Deposit
- Agency fee between U$D35 and U$D40
At the check in Im going to be waiting for you, you will sign a contract and receive the keys of the apartment.
Check in/Check out date and time will be arrange between the tenant and Andrea.
For Check ins from Monday to Saturday before 10am and after 7pm, holidays, and sundays the Agency Fee will be extra U$D25.
What's the security deposit?
The deposit will be one of the following depending on the length of the tenants stay:
The equivalent of the rent for stays of up to 2 weeks
The equivalent of 1/2 a month rent for stays of 2 weeks to 1 month
The equivalent of 1 month's rent for stays of over 1 month
The security deposit is refundable on the departure date, after verifying the general state of the apartment and its inventory. The apartment should be left in identical conditions as it was found upon arrival. If anything is damaged or missing, you agree to pay the cost to repair or replace it. If the cost is more than the security deposit, you agree to cover the remaining balance due.
What are the options for the payment?
PAYMENT MUST BE IN CASH in US Dollars, Euros or Argentine Pesos.
